Dina Podolsky, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a board-certified general surgeon.
She graduated with honors from Rutgers University, where she also earned her medical degree, and completed her general surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center. She then completed fellowship training in complex abdominal wall reconstruction and robotic surgery at Columbia, working closely with her practice partner, Dr. Yuri Novitsky.
Dr. Podolsky is a member of the Americas Hernia Society and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. She presents research at professional meetings and publishes academic research and textbook chapters.
Her teaching honors include the Golden Apple Teaching Award (2018), the Leo M. Davidoff Award for Outstanding Teaching, and induction into the Leo M. Davidoff Society (2017).
